Last week the National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) confirmed it was going to run its Demand Flexibility Service (DFS) again this year

The DFS is run by the National Grid and is meant to avoid electricity shortages by encouraging consumers to use power outside peak times - rewarding them with cheaper bills.
