The UK is to launch a new competition to provide funding to support the development and demonstration of new technologies for floating offshore wind. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy said the Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) Demonstration Programme will be launching soon, with interested parties able to submit a pre-application registration form that will allow them to receive programme announcements and be notified of upcoming events.
