Join the Friends of the Library on July 9 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for an interactive talk on the poetry of natural history and ways to have more meaningful experiences outdoors.

Join Suzanne Roberts and Lara Gularte for a special poetry event on Wednesday, June 22, from 5:30-7:00pm. The event will include a poetry reading, an open mic, and a book signing. This free event will kick off the Laureate Trail, a literary tour of El Dorado County Libraries with Poet Laureates past and present.

Friends of the South Lake Tahoe Library are hosting a Pop-Up Book Sale on June 4 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Looking for some great summer reads at prices that can’t be beat? Then stop by the library for the special book sale. Fill a bag with as many books as possible and get the whole thing for just $5.00!

The Friends of the Library (FOL) Used Book Sale will be held on Saturday, October 30, in the Community Room of the library from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Their goal is to move out the many books, CDs, DVDs and magazines generously donated by the community. For $5 a bag, you can give them a new home!
