When officers arrived, they located a man who had suffered facial injuries due to a gunshot wound. The man has been identified as 31-year-old Deontae Abron of Lincoln. LPD officers rendered aid to Deontae until Lincoln Fire and Rescue arrived and transported him to a local area hospital.
