LISBON Two more Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office deputies were honored Friday for their heroic actions.
Deputy Luke Skidmore received the Life Saving Award while Deputy Brian Deack was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. Both awards were given by Sheriff Brian McLaughlin through the Buckeye State Sheriffs’ Association awards program.
During a ceremony in the Sheriff’s offices in the courthouse, McLaughlin detailed the actions of both men that led to the honors being awarded. ....
