JAMMU, May 14: The Finance Department of J&K Government has released Rs. 55 crore under Disaster Response Fund which the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of the Union Territory may use to mitigate COVID-19 crisis.
It is pertinent to mention here that the newly created Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing unprecedented casualties and infections of deadly Coronavirus due to the second wave of the pandemic.
As per an order, Deputy Director Budget, Finance Department stated that the decision of funds shall be got duly approved by the State Executive Committee. ....
