A team of Inspectors under Supervision of Deputy Director Supplies, Narinder Kour and Assistant Director Enforcement Jammu, Shohab Latief, checked more than 50 establishments in areas of NewPlot, Janipur, Bantalab. Shopkeepers, including Sellers of Milk Products, Poultry and Meat Sellers, Vegetable Vendors were sensitized about various rules and regulations. They were instructed to display the Rate List and sell the commodities on the rates fixed by the Department/Associations. Owners of Food Joints and Restaurants were instructed to use only commercial LPG cylinders. People belonging to the area were also advised to approach the Department in case of any complaint. Similar Market Checks were also conducted in all Districts of Jammu Division by concerned Assistant Directors. ....
