LINCOLN – Originally scheduled to be ready for use this month, the completion of the gymnasium renovation at Lincoln High School has been delayed again. Those close to the project have reported that the recently finished gym floor will need to be almost completely redone, setting the schedule back at least a month. SMITHFIELD – Longtime Smithfield resident and political provocateur Al Costantino is suing Supt. Judy Paolucci, pictured, and the town of Smithfield for violating his civil rights after a no-trespass order issued from the district prevented him from voting on school property in the September primary. Costantino, 71, is a disabled Vietnam veteran who is heavily involved in local politics and construction projects.
