A COUNCILLOR has expressed his concern after youths were spotted giving abuse to drivers on a busy Walney road. Members of the public spotted the group of teenagers hurling abuse and messing around in the road in the Mill Lane area, close to Walney Fire Station and the skatepark. Police were called to Mill Lane at 6.30pm on Sunday after it was reported to them that youths were committing a road traffic offence and swearing at motorists. CUMBRIA Police have closed an investigation into an incident where three teenagers allegedly targeted a 15-year-old boy and pulled down his trousers during a sexual assault in a park. Cumbria Police had launched the investigation last year following the report, which was said to have taken place at 7.30pm on August 11 in Walney’s Vickerstown Park. DAMAGE caused by a motorcyclist on nature reserve has been dubbed 'unacceptable' by Natural England. A woman saw a motorcyclist flying through the dunes of North Walney Nature Reserve and wants to see more people respect the area. The Walney resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I was walking along the beach and there was a man on a motorbike racing through the dunes causing damage.
