UNITY Platform publishes annual report on violence against sexual and gender minorities in Cameroon
UNAIDS The UNITY Platform, a network of 34 organizations for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people, has just published its 2020 annual report on violence against sexual and gender minorities in Cameroon. The report, produced annually by all the associations that the platform covers, shows more than 2000 cases of violence and violations of the rights of sexual and gender minorities affecting 930 people in 2020, compared to just less than 1400 in 2019.
