The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed an appeal filed by Devas Multimedia Private Limited challenging National Company Law Tribunal (NCLAT) order that allowed to wind up the company.
In a setback to Devas Multimedia, the Supreme Court on Monday upheld the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), which in September last year dismissed a petition filed by Devas Multimedia against the order of the NCLT to wind up the company.
The Supreme Court of India today upheld the winding up order against Devas Multimedia Pvt., a company with a $1.3-billion award against Antrix Corp., the commercial arm of ISRO and a company wholly-owned by the Indian government.
SC junks Devas Multimedia's appeal against NCLAT order
In a setback for Devas Multimedia, the Supreme Court on Monday upheld the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal's order, which in September last year dismissed its petition against winding up of the company. The NCLT's direction had come on a petition filed by Antrix Corporation, the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Devas has been locked in a
