Qualcomm at its Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021 on Thursday unveiled the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 compute platforms for next-generation Windows laptops and Chromebooks. Additionally, the chipmaker brought the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 as its new chip for handheld gaming devices and announced its partnership with Razer to unveil a handheld gaming developer kit based on the Snapdragon G3x.

Razer is said to be developing a new handheld gaming console. It has partnered with Qualcomm to develop a Snapdragon G3x Handheld Developer Kit and could be targeted at the Valve Steam Deck or even the Nintendo Switch.
