Inclusive Pak-Iran diplomacy urged for security, trade collaboration

Islamabad : The experts from both sides noted that Pakistan-Iran diplomatic relations are based on the commonalities of language, literature, culture and religion that can enhance bilateral strategic and trade collaboration for a win-win situation.
Post withdrawal of the US troops from Afghanistan, the two countries should have a mutually agreed strategy to handle the emerging situation of security and peace in the region. They said the enhanced cultural collaboration and heritage tourism can bring the people from both sides closer to each other beyond the ethnic and religious divide.
Youth engagement in a variety of sectors is imperative. The CPEC could be another economic and trade bond for closer ties between Iran and Pakistan. A youth expedition from Chabahar to Gwadar would lead to a much better understanding between the people of both sides and will open many vistas of collaboration. Islamabad : Speaking at the re-launching of social and cultural network ‘Friends of China’ the experts urged the governments of Pakistan and China to work on the establishment of mechanisms for cultural promotion and social integration.
The cultural experts and practitioners shall lead the collaboration backed and facilitated by the governments. They said both countries are ‘iron friends’ for the last seven decades but the culture of both countries is less known to the people on both sides.
Cultural performances and arts showcasing shall replace fusion of recreation of culture, learning and understanding each other based on the cultural heritage. The pandemic time shall be used for planning and development of the mechanisms to boost cultural ties and social integration based on the learning. ....

Islamabad : The geopolitical experts from different countries in the region have warned of the worst consequences of pulling out the US-Nato troops from Afghanistan without any sustainable peace deal. It would lead the region to geopolitical chaos, instability and rise of insurgency as seen on the first day of the drawdown from the Kandahar airfield.
About 150 lives perished in an armed fight between the Afghan soldiers and Taliban to capture the vacated airfield. They said the investment made for almost 20-years in Afghanistan against terrorism and lives sacrificed are likely to go waste in hurriedly withdrawal of the troops.
