NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has chargesheeted six more CPI (Maoist) cadres in a case relating to the 2021 Naxal attack in Bijap.
The cadres had launched the gruesome assault with automatic weapons and Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGLs) when combined security teams were conducting search operations against the Maoist cadres near Tekalgudiyam village, Tarrem in June 2021.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a second supplementary chargesheet against six additional CPI (Maoist) cadres in connection with a deadly attack in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh in 2021, which resulted in the deaths of 22 security personnel. The Raja Shyamala Sahita Subramanyeswara Yagam, being conducted by the seers of the Visakha Sri Sharada Peetham, Swarupanandendra and Swatmanandendra, along with 170 Vedic priests from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, is being held at the CM’s farmhouse at Erravalli village in Siddipet district.
