An 85-year-old woman from Jharkhand is set to end her three-decade-long vow of silence on January 22, coinciding with the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Saraswati Devi initiated her silent vow on the day of the Babri Masjid's demolition in 1992, committing to break it only upon the completion of the Ram temple. Popularly known as 'Mauni Mata' in Ayodhya, she communicated through sign language and writing complicated sentences during her silent period. Devi, who devoted her life to Lord Ram, embarked on pilgrimages and will break her silence during the temple's inauguration event.
