The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes released a COVID-19 update for the reservation Tuesday that includes recent deaths from the virus on the reservation, which has around 6,000 members. Active cases have decreased recently, but in the last couple weeks, there have been four additional COVID-19 deaths, according to the Tribes news release.
