John MacDonald uncorked yet another double-digit winner in the top class at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, this time guiding 12-1 shot Illusion Seelster to victory in the $41,096 Fillies & Mares Open Pace on Monday (April 29). 

Ron Burke trainee Oh Look Magic shipped and delivered as the 9-5 favourite in the $41,096 Open Trot at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel on Tuesday (April 23). 

Pacing fillies and mares took center stage on Thursday, April 18 with a pair of $27,397 series finals highlighting the 14-race card. Finals for the Miss Windfall and Kenneth Stohler Memorial saw Seven It Is and Staying With Emily score in their respective series.

After winning two of three starts at Yonkers Raceway, Tonys Mom shipped to The Meadowlands on Dec. 23 and was a good-looking, fast-closing second-place finisher in the feature coming from sixth with a quarter-mile to go.
