A solo skier was rescued by first responders after being carried away and partially buried by an avalanche.
The body of a missing 37-year-old man who went skiing at Solitude Mountain Resort on Monday was located Tuesday morning.
“Number one tip with the snow as deep as it is and as good as it is right now is to ski with a partner,” advised Todd Taylor, a squad leader with Salt Lake County Search and Rescue.
Search and rescue crews located the body of a missing skier at a resort in Utah.
During the search for the missing skier, Solitude Mountain Resort shut down Apex, Summit and Sunrise slopes.
