Local: DeWitt High School Coach Named 2020 Coach of the Year
The official title is the 2020 Detroit Lions High School Football Coach of the Year, and local DeWitt High School Football coach, Rob Zimmerman, won the title. Coach of the DeWitt Panthers, Zimmerman has had 30 seasons of high school football coaching, and 25 seasons as an overall head coach. In his time at DeWitt, Zimmerman has gone 222-45. The DeWitt Panthers won the school’s first state football title on Saturday night.
