munford and sons headlining the first night of outside lands. good evening i m frank somerville. and i m keba arnold. it s a three day show that entertains thousands and raises millions of dollars for san francisco s recken park. amber lee was live at the first day of outside festival. reporter: you can see the crowd streaming out behind me. munford and sons was a big hit. authorities made 36 arrests mostly of people trying to cross the gates without paying. reporter: the music has been going almost since 1:00. outside lands has become one of the san francisco s hottest ticket selling out in less than 45 minute this is year. it s the best, i mean you have wine land. you ve got foodland. you have every single band you would like to see across every plethora of music. reporter: so far there s only been a handful of reports of people trying to sneak in. if there s anyone out here trying to sell you paper tickets they are absolutely fake. we want to warn people ....
