The Daily News A former U.S. Marine was arrested in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday amidst chaotic rioting at the U.S. Capitol in what the police say was an “unrest-related” charge. Jay Robert Thaxton, 46, was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department for violating curfew at the 1400 block of New York Avenue NW following the storming of the Capitol as Congress attempted to certify presidential election results.
