MLB The Show 21 pushes created players toward Diamond Dynasty

MLB The Show’s most-played mode, going on 15 years now, is Road to the Show. By far. Each year, developer SIE San Diego Studio had better come up with something new for its single-player career, or it’s going to hear about it from fans. So what’s the big new feature in Road to the Show this year? Diamond Dynasty. The game’s other most-played mode. This integration — the first time that Road to the Show’s created players can be used in other modes — does have its virtues, like seeing your superstar in a custom uniform, with all-time greats on his team. But there’s no mistakin...

MLB The Show 21 Review – Taking the Walk Into the Next Generation GAME INFO Publisher Developer SIE San Siego Studio This is a big year for Sony’s long-running MLB The Show franchise, at least from a business standpoint. Luke has been a graphic designer in the golf industry for the last five years, though he’s never truly enjoyed that particular “swing at a ball” sport. Rather, it’s baseball that provides the proper amount of weirdness for him. Umpires ringing up hitters. Gold Glovers awkwardly squirming under wind-blown popups. Sluggers whiffing on 88 mph fastballs. That stuff is Luke’s wheelhouse, and he explores those interests on his site, The Pop Up Dance. He lives in Portland and is on a never ending quest to find the myth...

MLB The Show 21 Review | Attack of the Fanboy

Welcome to the new generation. The Major League Baseball season just cranked back up a couple weeks ago and that means it is also time for the latest iteration of San Diego Studio’s MLB The Show franchise. Not only is this the first year to release on the new generation of consoles, but the series is also going multi-platform for the first time on both PlayStation and Xbox platforms with MLB The Show 21. MLB The Show has long been one of the best visual showpieces for PlayStation and MLB The Show 21 is no different. While the improvements are less than between past generational leaps on PS5...
