A native of Philadelphia, Emily Lin moved to Merced in 2003 to join a team of founding librarians building the twenty-first century research library at the University of California, Merced, and to manage an Institute of Museum and Library Services National Leadership Grant to digitize art collections from the Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford, CA.
