New Delhi, Jan 10 (IANS) The Defence Ministry, which has conducted the first-ever digital survey and documentation of its lakhs of acres of its land holdings

For the first time since independence, entire defence land (around 18 lakh acres) has been surveyed by using modern survey technologies like Electronic Total Station (ETS) and Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) including Drone imagery and Satellite imagery, informed the Ministry of Defence on Sunday.

Uniindia: New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) For the first time since independence, Defence Ministry has completed the mammoth survey of 17.78 lakh acres of defence land spread across India in about three years using latest survey technologies, including Drones.

NEW DELHI, Jan 9: In a first such comprehensive exercise since Independence, the government has surveyed 17.78 lakh acres of defence land using the latest technologies such as three-dimensional modelling, drone and satellite imageries.
