The probe was initiated after an investigative report published by TNM and Pratidhvani exposed how a private trust named Chilume had carried out large-scale voter data theft in Bengaluru.
The investigation has also pointed to possible connections of the Chilume Group with Hombale Films and Raj Dharma Analytica – two firms linked to Karnataka minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan.
