From living in Direct provision for almost 10 years to opening a restaurant of her own in the centre of Sligo at the age of 45, has proved that believing in dreams and working hard can make it real. Funké Egberongbe travelled from Nigeria to Ireland at the age of 27, in 2005. She made the journey alone while pregnant with her second child to find a better life.
