Touted to be the official remake of the Korean film Midnight Runners, the film is in the pre-production stage. The latest reports in the film nagar reveal to us that the movie has been titled ‘Shakini Dhakini’. Midnight Runners tells the story of two students from a police academy. The film is all about their journey into busing the gang of human traffickers. The original had two male actors in the leads but the makers changed the script to suit two female actors. Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas will reprise the lead roles from the original.
