At the end of the day, these tribes do need weapons. they have been asking for them for over a year. the government has promised to make good on that. bearing in mind the u.s. has gone through this with the sunni tribes before back in the days when it was fighting al qaeda. the isis predecessor. the sunni tribes turned on al qaeda and allied with the u.s. and they were fighting side by side in some instances. until that promise, that idea becomes a reality, it will be very difficult to convince the sunnis and shi'a government have their best interests at heart and are taking that into consider...
