JAMMU, Feb 16: Senior Congress leader and former Dy Chief Minister, Tara Chand today said that only Congress being the oldest and secular force is capable to address the genuine issues and demands of the downtrodden sections of the society including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
While addressing one day convention of SC/ST/OBCs at village Sarmala in Khour Block today, former Tara Chand said that Congress had played a key role in the Independence movement and post independence it ensured equal rights for all. He said that Congress is a secular ideology which wants equal development of all sections of the society. ....
