Effected the people out of their own house. jeff, do people in nashvill realize how gerrymandered thei state s? and can you use this opportunity to change the wa it operates? we certainly do recognize that we ve been gerrymandered. we used to be represented by those who share our values but last year, during th national elections, the county was basically divided into thirds and that effectively just puts neighbors against each other i a way. and it wasn t healthy. district-ing needs to be about cohesiveness and putting neighborhoods together, an that s not what happened and of course, the state legislature tried to go on step further and slashed metro council in half. we had a victory today that th court granted us an injunction although that has now been halted temporarily, an hopefully we won t have an appeal but even that in of itself ....
