Doing the 'Worcester Loop': a cycle ride for all the family
NOW that the days are longer and the weather kinder, it seems timely to share my favourite family ride around Worcester. We have used it for years as it is easy to access, fun for the kids, beautiful and completely car-free. It is a flat 10-kilometre long loop, which follows the Severn and takes in three parks (Gheluvelt, Cripplegate, Diglis) as well as our historic cathedral. Remember to take some games for the play parks, a change of clothes for getting wet (at the Splash Pad or fountain), and some money to buy snacks on the way. A map of the ride can be found at bikeworcester.org.uk.
