On 7 December 2022, a project entitled “Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response in Tajikistan” was launched in the Shahritus District of Khatlon Oblast. The two-year project will be implemented by the UN Women Office in Tajikistan with financial support from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the US Department of State.
