Something catastrophic going on or another reason why it s failed to surface. curt is a recovery expert. what do you think is going on here? well, the fact that they lost communications an hour and 20 minutes in to the dive doesn t seem to me to suggest that they re stuck on the wreck. based upon my experience with these types of vehicles, it takes time to get down there to sort things out, to detect the wreck on sonar. so an hour and 20 minutes, that would put him, just guessing, 10,000 feet or so. so something happened on the way down. i don t think they re stuck on the wreck. i don t think an hour and 20 minutes is long enough to get there and entangle on something. neil: in other words, they would have to have been ....
