4 posh DNCC areas: sewers of 85pc houses lead to lakes, drains
Sewerage lines of 2,265 out of 3,830 houses in Dhaka's Gulshan, Baridhara, Niketan and Banani are connected to lakes and drains. Dhaka South City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam disclosed this, referring to a recent survey conducted by the city corporation.
