A large number of people, both from Laos and neighbouring countries, are enjoying the annual Kapok Festival on Don Xao island in the Mekong River in Bokeo province.
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): The 20th Kapok Flower Festival (Boun Dok Ngiew Ban) will be staged in Tonpheung district, Bokeo province, on a grander scale than in the past, with a colourful programme of events scheduled for Jan 25-29.
