South Shore passengers concerned about lighting, accessibility at Gary Metro Station amid Double Track construction

Chesterton resident Patricia Scott detailed problems she and others have encountered at the Gary Metro station, now the eastern extent of the South Shore’s train service to Michigan City. The parking lot’s lights have been off at night, she said, and a long ramp leading to the train platform is difficult for disabled passengers for those with breathing difficulty.
