Washington [US], October 24 (ANI/Sputnik): Tens of millions of already used nitrile medical gloves were imported into the United States from Thailand during the pandemic, CNN reported on Sunday, citing its own investigation.
A months-long CNN investigation found that tens of millions of counterfeit and used medical gloves were made to look new again and sent to the US, according to import records and distributors who bought the gloves. Criminal investigations are underway by the authorities in the US and Thailand. CNN's Scott McLean reports.
