Dover city council votes to override vetoes by mayor
DOVER At a sometimes contentious special session Friday evening that lasted nearly three hours, Dover council voted to override Mayor Richard Homrighausen's vetoes of two pieces of legislation. The first piece established rates for customers of Dover Power & Light and included a surcharge on electricity used by Dover Chemical Corp. Council voted 6-1 to override that veto.
