Updated: 5:33 PM EDT May 6, 2021 NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A 77-year-old man was arrested Thursday after police said an accidental discharge of a firearm killed his wife. Police said they responded to a home on Down River Road after receiving a call of an accidental shooting. The caller was 77-year-old Albert Kokoth and police said it was his wife Margret Kokoth, who died as a result of a gunshot. Albert Kokoth was arrested after a subsequent investigation by officers.
