Work Continues On Downing Bridge
Overnight road work continues tonight and tomorrow on the Downing Bridge over the Rappahannock River between Richmond County and the Town of Tappahannock. Crews are doing repairs to the bridge deck and bridge joints between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The work requires alternating one-way traffic and that’s being controlled via automated flagging assistance devices so plan for some extra time on that section of Route 360.
