Following two failed attempts, a new effort got underway on Wednesday to dislodge a 130-ton cargo ship that has been stuck in the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.

Five tugboats worked to push and pull the stuck ship Ever Forward out of the mud of the Chesapeake Bay on Tuesday without success.

The Coast Guard said it would again try to rescue the Ever Forward on Wednesday, when the tide will be higher. The ship ran aground outside the shipping channel two weeks ago.
