Bill the Kid Casino to reopen March 22 The Billy the Kid Casino at Ruidoso Downs Race Track closed its casino floor in 2020 when the State of New Mexico issued emergency public health orders closing non-essential businesses in an effort to stem the spread of SARS-CoV-2. After a year of closure, officials announced the casino would reopen to the public on March 22 under new hours. The casino will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. “We are excited to open the casino and welcome our players back,” said Jeff True, president and general manage of Ruidoso Downs Race Track and Casino.
