The Jefferson City Jays had a chance to pull of the upset Friday night. After trailing 14-0 just more than four minutes in and by 15 points in the fourth quarter, the Jays had a chance to tie it on their final drive. But Jacob Wilson’s pass on fourth-and-23 was knocked out of Kendric Johnson’s hands in the end zone and fell incomplete, sending the Rock Bridge Bruins to a 35-27 victory in Central Missouri Activities Conference play at Adkins Stadium.

The Jefferson City Jays will be tested for the second straight week tonight. Coming off their first loss of the season, the Jays will welcome the reigning Central Missouri Activities Conference champion Rock Bridge Bruins to Adkins Stadium for their conference opener.
