welcome, everybody. our "starting point" is this breaking news. two american tourists have been kidnapped in dahab, egypt, in the sinai region. the kidnappers, it appears, are trying to negotiate some sort of prisoner exchange. jill daugherty joins us. what do we know? >> the state department is in touch with the families of these two people. names have not been given. they're 31 years old. the state department is providing counselor services and they are in touch and working very closely with egyptian authorities to try to resolve this. essentially, what happened, these two people, ...
