1st Street detour on Sunday Published IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – On Sunday, April 25 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., 1 st Street from Yellowstone to Lee will be detoured due to work on the water line there. Traffic will need to proceed north on Yellowstone, past 1 st Street to Gladstone Street and then South on Lee Street in order to access businesses between Yellowstone and Holmes.    Knife River Construction will be working on the project. Submitted to The Union Major construction work is set to begin Monday on a Highway 49 safety improvement project between Round Valley Road and Quail Creek Drive. The $4.3 million project is constructing a two-way left turn lane with an increased 8-foot-wide southbound shoulder. The project is intended to reduce the number and severity of collisions between Round Valley Road and Quail Creek Drive by providing a designated turn lane for motorists.
