Council receives grant to design intersections in Drouin and Warragul
Baw Baw Shire Council is one of 21 municipalities to receive funding through the Victorian Government’s Streamlining for Growth program.
The $2.7 million program is designed to create jobs and drive Victoria’s economic recovery.
Council has received a $250,000 (excluding GST) grant through the program, with $35,000 in additional in-kind support from the Victorian Planning Authority.
The funding will go towards delivering the Warragul and Drouin Development Contribution Plan (DCP) Arterial Road Intersection Design project.
The project will involve the design, detailed design approval and costing of critical pieces of infrastructure for Warragul and Drouin, including new roundabouts proposed for Main South Road in Drouin, Brandy Creek Road in Warragul and Warragul- Korumburra Road in Warragul. ....
