The official cause of a deadly explosion at a Westminster home is "undetermined," the Westminster Fire Department announced Thursday.
The investigation into the Feb. 22 blast in the 7700 block of Knox Court was very complex, WFD said, due to the extensive amount of damage and the wide debris field.
Two days after responding to an explosion and fire at the Stratus Townhomes in Westminster, firefighters were called out to the complex again for another fire at a separate building.
The Westminster Police Department announced late Friday that there may have been people living inside a home that exploded on Tuesday that had its utilities shut off last spring.
A neighbor reported that a man continued to live at the Knox Court home despite it being condemned after a fire in April.
