The Marlow Fire Brigade - memories of the early years
1 - THE original fire tender pulled by hand. It was “rescued” and restored by former fireman Peter Cole. It is inscribed “The Gift of John Clavering Esq. To the Borough of Great Marlow, 1731.” 2 - The crew with their horse drawn tender which was housed in one of the Market Hall archways, and the horses kept in Crown Meadow to the rear. 3 & 4 - In Crown Meadow, and probably pictures taken on the same day in 1903.
