Caseville to celebrate new year with ball drop FacebookTwitterEmail CASEVILLE Despite pandemic restrictions that prevent Dufty s Blue Water Inn from being open this New Year s Eve, the annual ball drop will still occur. It is time to ring in a new year, Dufty s owner Todd Talaski said. Hopefully 2021 will be better. The event will take place on Main Street in Caseville and is sponsored by Dufty s Blue Water Inn. According to a press release, the ball will hang high above the city and at midnight will be will be lowered to the ground in celebration of New Year s. Talaski said initially he had planned to cancel the ball drop, but many in the community had reached out an inquired about the event, so it was clear the celebration was still needed. ....
