After three days I gave up waiting and rang its customer service line. Apologies were profuse and to their credit they same-day couriered me a replacement book. Which is great except three weeks later, arriving back from holiday, I noticed something in the bushes beside my back door. Yup. You guessed it. It was the original package, which must have been blown by the Wellington wind off my doorstep into the foliage. In other words, not only did they deliver the original item when they should have, they proceeded to replace it effortlessly even though they were not at fault. Their only fault...
